In ancient China, a city wall was significantly important to defending a city. An ancient town or city without a city wall was like a home without a door. Do you know why there was no ancient city wall around Lijiang Ancient Town? The reason was that the builder of the Lijiang Ancient Town was the Mu family. If the city wall was built, it was like that a frame was added to the surname “Mu” character. After visiting the Blue Moon Valley, you will take the ropeway to the Spruce Meadow, an alpine meadow on the east hillside of the main peak of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.
