Brief Introduction of Wuhan Happy Valley

Wuhan Happy Valley is a large-scale cultural theme park and one National 4A Tourist scenic spot. It is the first Happy Valley in Central China and the fifth Happy Valley built by the Overseas Chinese Town Holdings Company (OCT Group). It includes many theme areas such as Happy Ocean, Dream Avenue, Dessert Kingdom, Fun Time, Speedy World, Fish Island, Bird Heaven, Typhoon Bay, Happy Wuhan, etc., presenting more than 100 entertainment activities for tourists, more than 30 amusement equipments, over 40 ecological and cultural landscapes, over 10 cultural performances and more than 20 themes activities.
 

With a vision of “building cultural parks”, Wuhan Happy Valley inherits the cultural value of the OCT Group and aims to bring fun and create a prosperous city. Backed by the world-class high-tech amusement equipment, wonderful cultural performances, and a vivid natural ecological landscape, it provides visitors with diversified leisure activities.
 

Wuhan Happy Valley also takes the ‘low-carbon and environment-friendly’ as the design concept. It retains 100,000 square meters of Metasequoia and builds a leisure area in the forests. Development of Wuhan Happy Valley

Wuhan Happy Valley, built in 2012, is the fifth large-scale cultural park built by the OCT Group after Shenzhen, Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai.
 

The OCT Group originally planned to build a “Happy Valley” theme park, including an independent water park, a park for children, an international cultural bay, an open urban entertainment area with leisure activities, theme hotels, and theme communities.
 

To bring more ecological and cultural elements to the Wuhan Happy Valley, the OCT Group added three new contents, including an open ecological art park, a large cultural theme theater dedicated to advocating Chinese acrobatics culture, and a large-scale ecological museum for displaying the scenery of wetland.
 

On April 29, 2012, Wuhan Happy Valley was officially opened to the public.

Happy Ocean

Happy Ocean Theme Area integrates technology and interactivity. It is suitable for the whole family to play together. The themes include Wind Surfer, Overflying Yangtze, Seahorse Knight, and Top-Speed Travel. The Wind Surfer has a surfing track in standing W-formation. Standing on the track, surfers can experience the fun of speed surfing with the spoondrift pouncing on the face. The Overflying Yangtze has the first 7D dome flying theater in Central China. It provides the visual pleasure of flying.
 

Speed World

Located at the best location, the entrance of the park, Speed World is the most exciting area. It includes Speedy Vehicle (ejection roller coaster), Monte Carlo (motor racing), Speed Test (kart racing), Giant Frisbee (big pendulum), and other theme activities. The ejection roller coaster has a top speed of 135 kilometers per hour, and its maximum height is 60 meters. The speed vehicle will eject like a missile. The ejection instantly gives you the feeling of getting rid of gravity. Every sharp bend, every overturn, and every dive will satisfy all your passion and desire for speed.
 

X-Car Skyloop XT 150

X-Car Skyloop XT 150 (X-Car) is the second-largest 720-degree circular roller coaster in China and the sixth-largest worldwide. Although its length is only 150 meters, there are many high-altitude sports elements in it. The seat design is stadium-style without shoulder restraint. X-car has a circular track driven by a chain, which can vertically elevate visitors to 46.2 meters. The car flips when it reaches the highest point of the circle, then falls vertically with a maximum speed of 105.6 kilometers per hour. Then the car will sway three times higher in the sky like a pirate ship, and finally, slowly enter the station.

Take bus 316, 392, 534, 545, 566, 734, 782, or 810 and get off at the Happy Valley Station on Happy Avenue.

Take Metro Line 4 and get off at the Renhe Road Station and exit B.
