Haikou is the capital of Hainan Province. The average temperature of Haikou is 20℃(68℉) up and down all year round. The rainy season in Haikou is from July to October of the year, especially in September, which is the peak of rainfall and slightly inconvenient for tourists to travel.

Our guide will meet & greet you at the arrival hall in the Haikou International Airport. Then you will take a private car to the centrally located hotel. The rest day would be your free time to discover the surroundings.

Qilou Old Streets 

The Haikou Qilou Old Streets is the most characteristic human landscape in Haikou with a history of more than 700 years. Most of the Qilou buildings in Haikou Old Street were built in the early 1900s. They were built by a group of overseas Chinese who came back from the South Seas (Mostly from Malaysia and Indonesia). The Qilou buildings are suitable for the southern tropical climate: the first-floor aisle can shade the sun, but also avoid the wind and rain.

After visiting we will head back to the hotel.

This morning, we will first visit the Haikou Volcanic Cluster Global Geopark.

Located on both sides of the Qiongzhou Strait at the southern tip of China, the Haikou Volcanic Cluster Global Geopark has a total area of 118 square kilometers. The main attraction, Mount Fengluling is rich in volcanic lava remnants and worth a visit. At the same time, the mountain is not too high, and the hiking path is quite relaxing.

After lunch, we will take the estimated high-speed train to C7329 16:03/17:46 Sanya city.

Upon arrival at the Sanya train station, the local guide will take you to the hotel for a rest.

Today, our tour will start at the Nanshan Temple. Nanshan Temple which is located on the Nanshan Mountain 44 kilometers west of the Sanya city area, is a large temple that resembles the style of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). There is a South Sea Goddess statue in the temple, which is 108 meters high. All planes flying over the head of the South Sea Goddess statue will make a circle around it, meaning blessings! We will have a vegetarian lunch in the temple.

After lunch, we will keep on our tour to Tianya Haijiao park which is located 20 kilometers east of Nanshan Temple. It takes 30 minutes’ drive. Tianya Haijiao scenic area is a beautiful and charming natural scenery, with a long and unique history and culture. “Tianya Haijiao” in Chinese has a special meaning: the ends of the world. It is a popular place for young couples to take wedding photographs.

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the airport. You will fly back to your sweet home.
