After breakfast, your tour guide will take you to the Victoria Peak, the highest hill on the Hong Kong Island. With an elevation of 554 meters, it’s the perfect placeto have a panoramic view of the city. There are many viewing platforms, and you can enjoy the spectacular natural scenery and fresh air. The best and easiest way to get to the top of the peak is the Peak Tram, which will offer you a special view of its beauty. It only takes 7-8 minutes to get to the top by the tram. The tram, put into service since 1888, is the earliest funicular in Asia, and is now the most common way chosen by tourists to ascend the peak. It’s really safe, so be at ease and just enjoy. Next, you will go to the Aberdeen Fishing Village in the south of the Hong Kong Island. It is one of the few fishing villages that are preserved till today. Villagers still adhere to traditional ways of life, namely, making a living out of fishing. You can take a sampan to go sightseeing in this village and experience the special lifestyle of local people.
After experiencing the traditional lifestyle in the village, your tour guide will take you to the Stanley Market, located in a small town in the southeast of the Hong Kong Island. It is popular among tourists, because many street vendors sell clothes, souvenirs, paintings and traditional Chinese handicrafts here. Remember to bargain with those vendors for things you like. Just pick something meaningful to share with your families and friends! After some free time at the Stanley Market, your half-day tour ends. After breakfast, we will drive 40 kilometers west to the Tung Chung cable car station, which is in the southwest of the Lantau Island, the largest island in Hong Kong with an area of 141.6 square kilometers. It takes about 30 minutes to get there. We will take the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car, one of the top ten cableways in the world. The cableway is 5.7 kilometers long. And the cable car cabins are diamond-shaped, with glass walls on the four sides, which enable you to enjoy the natural beauty of the Lantau Island with a360-degree view. There are two kinds of cabins: the Standard Cabin and the Crystal Cabin. The former only has glass walls, while the latter, besides the walls, has a glass floor, giving you a new angle to see the vast sea, bushy mountains and rolling grassy slopes under your feet. We will arrange the standard cabin for you. Please let us know if you want to take the crystal one. From Tung Chung cable car station, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the mountain top-Ngong Ping. Along the way up, you will see the Hong Kong International Airport, the South China Sea and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
After we get to the top, we will first visit the Bronze Buddha. It is 34 meters high, covering an area of 6,567 square meters, making it the world’s largest open-air bronze seated Buddha statue. Its right hand raises to the chest, with five fingers stretches out, which represents the removal of pain. Its left hand hangs down on the foot, with the palm outward, and the fingertips slightly downward, implying giving happiness. There is a bell inside the statue, and it chimes 108 times every day, meaning removing 108 worries.
In the opposite of the statue of the Bronze Buddha stands the Po Lin Monastery, which is the best among the Four Great Temples in Hong Kong. The halls here have red doors and green tiles, and plants can be seen everywhere, all of which will give you a feeling of peace. Besides, the halls are built in a symmetric manner, showing majesty. There are palaces for visitors to meditate or watch the sunrise. It’s quite popular among visitors.
After lunch, you will have some free time at the Ngong Ping Village, the last stop before you take the cable car down the mountain. It’s full of the characteristics of Chinese gardens. There are many quaint buildings, like arch bridges, and traditional Chinese pavilions. Walking here, you might have a chance to see Kung Fu performances, acrobatics, and so on. This morning, we don’t have attractions arranged, and you can manage your time after breakfast. Both having a rest and going sightseeing are good choices. But we do have some free time suggestions for you.
One place you might be interested in is the Avenue of Stars, which is located in the east of the Kowloon Peninsula. Modeled after the Avenue of Stars in Hollywood, it is built to commend the outstanding people in the filmdom and the development of the film industry of Hong Kong. With a whole length of 440 meters, the Avenue of Stars now holds 101 plaques of different film workers. Names as well as palm prints of those people are inlaid in these tailor-made plaques, which include the palm print of Jackie Chan, a famous action movie star. In addition, there are statues of celebrities in Hong Kong, among which the most popular and representative one is the statue of Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee is a world-renowned superstar in Kung Fu. The other attraction you wouldn’t want to miss is the Harbor City, the largest shopping and leisure center in West Kowloon. It only takes 10-15 minutes to walk from the Avenue of Stars to the Harbour City. Covering an area of 2 million square feet, this shopping center holds about 10 office buildings, 50 restaurants, 2 large cinemas, and 700 stores. There are also places for performances and exhibitions. You might see musical performances on weekends. If you want to overlook the beauty of the Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, the newly-built 270-degree observatory deck will make your dream come true. The deck is on the top of a five-storey building, with the sea on three sides. Inside the deck is a natural lawn, where you can roam around. In a word, the Harbor City is a place where your various needs will be met.
In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Discovery Bay Golf Club located in the northeast of the Lantau Island. It was established in 1983. Five qualifying matches for China Tour-Volvo China Open were held here. It has strict dressing code. People wearing jeans and slippers are not allowed to enter the club. The court is on hills and there is no caddie, so you will have to take your Golf bag. It is a place where you can relax and meet friends.

Welcome to Sanya, a beautiful coastal city in the southernmost part of China. As the capital of Hainan Province, it is the key city and transportation hub in Hainan. Enjoying wonderful seaside scenery, it is honored as the “Oriental Hawaii”. It has a land area of about 1920 square kilometers, a sea area of 6000 square kilometers. It gathers over 20 ethnic groups, with a population of about 750,000. The air quality here is the best in China. You will see golden beaches, vast sea, and swaying palm trees on both sides of the streets here, which is very relaxing.
After breakfast, we will go sightseeing in the Luhuitou Park in the north of the downtown area of Sanya. It is on the peak of a small mountain, whose three sides are surrounded by sea. Standing here, you will have a panoramic view of the whole city. This park is renowned for the spectacular stone statue of a deer. There’s a love story about this statue. Legend has it that a young handsome hunter was chasing a deer hard, and after climbing 99 mountains and crossing 99 rivers, they came to where the Luhuitou Park was located. There’s no road in front of the deer but the vast sea, so it stopped, turned its head, with its clear eyes showing sadness. Seeing that, the hunter who was going to shoot the arrow hesitated. He put down his arrow and hands, and thinking about what to do.Suddenly, with spark and smoke, the deer became a beautiful young girl. Then they fell in love with each other and settled here. Later on, people built this statue according to the love story, and named this place Luhuitou (means a deer turns its head) Park. This legend is also the reason why Sanya is known as the deer city. This park has become a theme park of love and attracted many visitors. Besides the statue, there is a cometary observatory, pavilions for tidal bore watching, pools of fish and so on. At noon, your tour guide will take you to a nearby restaurant to have lunch, and then lead you to the Yanoda Rainforest Cultural Tourism Zone, which is about 45 kilometers northeast of the city center.. It takes nearly an hour to get there. One attractive site here is the Rainforest Gully where giant banyans, hundred-year-old vines, lucid ganoderma and many other plants grow, making it a natural oxygen bar. Plank roads, stone steps, and suspension bridges here will allow you to enjoy the scenery in different ways. And due to the bushy plants, the average temperature here is 24 degrees Celsius all year round. There is also an observation deck for visitors to enjoy the sea view. It is the best place where you can see the bays, islands, and coastlines faraway. After visiting Yanoda, your tour guide will transfer you to the hotel.

Today, you will take the estimated flight HU7323 11:15/14:40 to Shanghai. Your tour guide will wait for you at the arrival hall, holding your name sign. Welcome to Shanghai, one of the four biggest and most modern cities in China, with a total area of 6,340 square kilometers and a population of nearly 25 million. It is the birthplace of the Chinese Communist Party, making it important politically. Besides, there are numerous streets with lush French platanus, so Shanghai is also honored as the“Oriental Paris”.
The first place we will go to is the Bund on the bank of the Huangpu River, the mother river of the city. The Bund has a whole length of about 1.5 kilometers. Here stand buildings with the Gothic style, the Baroque style, the Roman style, etc., making the Bund “the Exhibition of the World’s Architecture”. From here, you will also see the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the landmark of shanghai.
Not far away from the Bund is the Nanjing Road, a pedestrian street. Everything here, from the street lamps, benches, to the dust bins and even the manhole covers, is well-designed, which will make tourists feel comfortable and delighted. Walking on the 1.2-kilometer road, you will see many time-honored restaurants, pastry stores, and shopping malls. It is a perfect place to go shopping, have meals, watch films, and take photos.
After breakfast, we will first visit the Jade Buddha Temple, a place of tranquility in the downtown area. It covers an area of 8,856 square meters. Modeled after palaces of the Song Dynasty (960-1279), it is well-arranged. The main building inside the temple is the Great Buddha’s Hall, a two-storey building, inside which there are three gilt statues of buddhas. Jade Buddha Hall is the most famous in the temple, and a 1.95-meter high seated jade Buddha is here. It is delicately carved out of a large piece of jade. Over 100 jadeites and agates are decorated on the edge of this Buddha’s cassock. This place will surely give you a sense of peace and tranquility.
Next, we will go to Yu Garden (closed on Mondays), a classical garden with features of southern China architectural style. First built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), it was a private garden in the beginning. Yu means safety and peace in Chinese. And this garden was named Yu Garden by the builder because he wanted his family to live here in peace. There are iron lions, stone statues, pavilions, artificial hills, lakes, bridges as well as various kinds of plants. It is a place for both sightseeing and holding activities. If you are lucky, you might see exhibitions of flowers, calligraphic works, paintings and so on. During some traditional Chinese festivals, celebrations are also held here, attracting many people.
After visiting the Yu Garden, we will go to Shanghai Old Street, where you can taste some authentic local snacks, such as sweet green rice balls, small steamed buns, and soup dumplings.
Next, we will head to the Shanghai Tower, a 127-storey building whose height is 632 meters. There is an observatory deck on the 118th floor, and it only takes 55 seconds to get to it through the elevator. From here, you will have a panoramic view of the city. After your visit to the Shanghai Tower, your guide will escort you back to your hotel for a nice rest.

Welcome to Beijing! This city covers an area of over 16,000 square kilometers and has a population of about 21.6 million. You must have known that Beijing is the capital of China, and the political as well as cultural center of China. With a history of more than 3,000 years, it has been the capital of 8 dynasties.
After breakfast, we will go to the Tian’anmen Square in the center of Beijing. Covering an area of 440, 000 square meters, it is the world’s largest city square and can hold one million people for gathering. On October 1st in 1949, the founding ceremony of the People’s Republic of China was held here. Chairman Mao, the founding father of the People’s Republic of China, pushed the button for raising the national flag in person for celebrating the founding of new China. Here also stands the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, which is used to commemorate Chairman Mao and other revolutionists who have made great contributions to China. There are quantities of pictures, records and real objects, showing the course of the hard struggle of the Communist Party of China.
Besides, there is the Monument to the People’s Heroes, the first building built on the square after the birth of new China. It is 37.94 meters tall, making it the tallest monument in China. It is made of 17 thousand pieces of granite and white marble.
Next, we will go to the Forbidden City (closed each Monday). It was the royal palace in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912). It is the world’s largest and best-preserved wooden architecture. Covering an area of 720 thousand square meters, it is surrounded by 10-meter-high walls on four sides, and there is a moat outside the walls. There are more than 70 palaces of different sizes and over 9000 rooms in the Forbidden City. The movie “The Last Emperor”, which tells the whole life of the last emperor in the Qing Dynasty-Pu Yi, was shot here.
Then your guide will take you to Jingshan Park, the best place to overlook the Forbidden City. There are many orchards, trees and flowers, of which the most famous is the peony. Flower exhibitions and other cultural activities are often held here.
After that, we will go to the Summer Palace, which was the royal garden of the Qing Dynasty. It mainly includes the Longevity Hill and the Kunming Lake. There is a stone boat on the Kunming Lake. It is the most famous building built on water, and the only architecture with western style in this palace. After visiting the Summer Palace, your tour guide will transfer you to your hotel.
In the morning, we will drive about 50 kilometers northwest to the Ming Tombs, and it takes about one hour to get there. It is where the tombs of 13 emperors and empresses in the Ming Dynasty stand. Covering an area of 40 square kilometers, it is the world’s largest complex of royal tombs. The first site we will visit is the Sacred Way, the way leading to the tombs. Then we will go to the Chang Tomb, the tomb of the third emperor and his empress in the Ming Dynasty. Built in 1409, it covers an area of 120 thousand square meters. The location, construction materials, as well as design were carefully selected and in a high standard, which highlights the power of emperors.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is about 70 kilometers northeast away from the downtown area. It will take around 2 hours to get there. It is the longest part of the Great Wall, and it is the part with the most types of transportationsWe will take the chairlift to climb up the wall and take the toboggan to go down. But only people under 60 are allowed to take the toboggan.
After that, we will go back to the downtown area. On the way, we will pass by the Birds’ Nest, the main stadium of the Olympic Games in 2008, as well as the Water Cube, the main swimming center during the game.
