But China is so large, do you want to have a trip to China but don’t know which city to start from? If you have such concerns, it is better for you to visit China from Hong Kong. As one of the most developed regions in China, there are many tourist places to visit Hong Kong. During this trip, we can see cultural landscapes such as Wong Tai Sin Temple, Nan Lian Garden and Chi Lin Nunnery. Besides, we can also visit Ladies’ Street and Temple Street, which are frequently visited by locals. In the two streets, we can taste Hong Kong delicacies. Most importantly, we can also enjoy a Symphony of Lights, which is the largest light and music show in the world at night! If you are interested in it, don’t hesitate to join our top sightseeing in Hong Kong!
Welcome to Hong Kong! In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and then escort you to the attractions. The first attraction we will visit is Wong Tai Sin Temple, which was built in 1945, covering an area of more than 18,000 square meters. Tai Sin refers to some capable people in China, and Wong is one of them. Wong Tai Sin is widely known for helping people. It is said that his sortition is very efficacious, so many people come from afar to ask for advice. Visitors can get a lottery bucket beside the main hall, where there are one hundred bamboo sticks in it with numbers from 1 to 100. After asking a question, you can shake the bucket until one of the bamboo sticks falls out. Then you can ask Wong Tai Sin the answer to your question. You might as well ask him about your doubts, and maybe you can get the answer as well.
After visiting Wong Tai Sin Temple, we will head to Nan Lian Garden. The garden was built in 2003, covering an area of about 35,000 square meters, and taking gardens of the Tang Dynasty as the architectural blueprints. After coming here, you must come to Little Changan (Changan is the capital of the Tang Dynasty) for a tour. There is a red wooden bridge here. On the opposite side of the bridge is a golden courtyard, like a reduced version of the royal palace. In addition, potted plants, stones with different shapes, and pavilions can be seen everywhere in the garden, and each of these pavilions has its own style. If you are tired, you can sit in a pavilion to rest and enjoy the tranquility of the moment.
After visiting Nan Lian Garden, we will head to the nearby Chi Lin Nunnery. The nunnery was founded in 1936, covering an area of more than 30,000 square meters, with mountains behind and sea ahead. The layout of the temple refers to the existing Tang Dynasty architecture as well as documents in China, Japan, and other places, and it took more than 10 years to build. Chi Lin Nunnery is mainly composed of mountain gate, Tianwang Hall and Daxiong Hall. And the classical beauty here can be seen from the entrance, the mountain gate. The soothing slope of the roof of the mountain gate is covered with blue-gray tiles, which is one of the distinctive features of the architecture of the Tang Dynasty. And when you walk into the center of the temple, Tianwang Hall, you can see Sakyamuni and his disciples being enshrined here. In addition, you can also go down the stairs in front of the mountain gate to reach the Nanlian Garden Pond. There are scattered pine trees, pavilions, and multistory towers distributed here, adding an elegant place to the prosperous city of Hong Kong.
After lunch, we will head to two famous shopping streets, Ladies’ Street and Temple Street. Interestingly, Temple Street was once called Men’s Street, because, in the past, women always went shopping on Ladies’ Street, and men went to Men’s Street. But don’t worry, the two streets are suitable for everyone now. Besides, the products here are famous for their low prices, and many Hong Kong locals will come here to buy them. In addition, when you come to Hong Kong, you must taste the local food here. I highly recommend you to try the curry fish ball. The fish ball is made with special curry powder and various secret sauces. After being cooked, it will be topped with sweet chili or tomato sauce, and the taste of it is fresh and tender.
In the evening, we will usher in today’s highlight, a Symphony of Lights! A Symphony of Lights began in 2004, jointly performed by 47 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. As the largest light and music show in the world, it combines searchlights, laser lights, LED lights with background music. Over the past ten years, it has attracted more than 4,000,000 people to watch. When we speak of the most beautiful moment in Hong Kong, it must be its night. When the light show started, the preset laser on the top of the tall building on the opposite bank changed its color and direction rhythmically, creating a wonderful scene. The crowds who appreciate the light show will also cheer along with the swing of each beam. At this moment, you might as well join them and enjoy this beautiful light show in the city! After the light show, our tour will send you back to the hotel. Hope you enjoy the Tour from Hong Kong!

If you still have energy, you can also go to the Avenue of Stars. The avenue is an attraction that commends outstanding people in the Hong Kong film industry. Like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the names and palm print of outstanding film workers are inlaid on a special commemorative plaque here. In addition, it also houses a few sculptures. On November 27, 2005, a 2-meter-high bronze statue of Bruce Lee, modeled after the movie "Dragon Fighting Tiger," was unveiled on the avenue to commemorate his 65th birthday.
