The water and grass in the lake are abundant and are especially suitable for grazing. The word "Shudu" means to praise the beauty of the pasture. With pleasant scenery and fresh air, you can experience the harmony between human and nature here. The beautiful autumn scenery also makes it an ideal home for photography lovers.
Militang Alpine Pasture is a famous sub-alpine pasture in the history of Shangri-La. When summer comes, the pasture becomes a sea of flowers and all kinds of wildflowers bloom. Locals call them "the Flower Fields". It is also the winter habitat of migratory birds such as black-necked crane, grey crane and zebra head goose. Scattered on the grassland, the log cabins are temporary places for herdsmen to live while they graze, and also a window to understanding the local culture of Yunnan.
Bita Lake is a provincial-level nature reserve and a wetland of international importance. In the Tibetan language, "Bita" means a place that has a large number of Quercus robur. The lake is beautiful and fascinating with tree shadows standing upside down. Bita Lake contains rich natural and cultural implications. It is the Holy Lake in the mind of Tibetan people and they believe that this is a place that brings good fortune to people.
