After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your hotel and you will first visit Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City. Tian’anmen Square is located in the center of Beijing. It is 880 meters long from north to south, 500 meters wide from east to west, and covers an area of 440,000 square meters. It is the largest city square in the world today. On 1st Oct., 1949, Chairman Mao Zedong announced the founding of the People's Republic of China on the Tian’anmen Rostrum. Since then, the Tian’anmen Rostrum has become a symbol of New China, and its solemn image is an important part of China's national emblem. The Forbidden City is a royal palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China. It has more than 70 palaces of various sizes and more than 9,000 houses. The Forbidden City is one of the largest and most intact wooden structures in the world. (The Forbidden City is closed on Monday). After lunch, you will visit the Summer Palace. The Summer Palace is China's famous royal garden. As the last large palace built by China's last feudal dynasty, the Summer Palace has inherited the tradition of Chinese imperial gardens from all previous generations, and has absorbed a great deal of the art of gardening in the private gardens of the South. It is also one of the Four Most Famous Gardens of China. After that you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After breakfast, guide will take you to visit the Ming Tombs. The Ming Tombs, located in Changping District, 50 kilometers north of Beijing, is the tomb building complex of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). It has the characteristics of large scale, complete system and relatively complete preservation. The natural landscape in the area is beautiful, and there are many cultural relics and historic sites. After lunch, we will take you to visit the world-famous Great Wall. There is an old saying in China that “one who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero”. The Great Wall is an ancient defense project with the longest construction time and the largest amount of construction in the world. It has been built continuously for more than 2000 years since the Western Zhou Dynasty. The Great Wall is spread over vast areas of northern and central China, with a total length of more than 50,000 kilometers. On the way back, you will have chance to have a photo stop at the Water Cube and Bird’s Nest. They are landmarks of the Beijing Olympics. Now there are still various competitions being held there.

After breakfast, you will visit the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is the place where the ancient Chinese emperor sacrificed the heaven, and it is also the crystallization of China's long-time culture of sacrificing the heaven. Its magnificent architecture, verdant ancient trees, and rich cultural relics record the ancient Chinese emperor's hopes for a bumper harvest and a better life in the coming year. You may have chance to play Taichi here. After that, you will be transferred to the train station and take the estimated train: G349 15:13/19:45 to Xi’an.

Our guide will meet you at the train station and then you will be transferred to your hotel for rest.

This morning, you will first visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. Terracotta warriors are a category of ancient tomb sculptures, that is, funerary objects made in the shape of chariots, war horses, soldiers. It is also known as “the eighth wonder of the world”. More than 200 foreign heads of state and government have visited here and it become a golden card of ancient Chinese brilliant civilization. It is also known as one of the rare treasures of the world's top ten ancient tombs. After lunch, we will take you to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Xuanzang built the Big Wild Goose Pagoda to preserve the Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back to Chang'an by the Silk Road from India. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda as the earliest and largest existing pagoda-style brick tower in the Tang Dynasty, is a typical physical evidence of the ancient Indian Buddhist temple, which was introduced into the Central Plains area with Buddhism and integrated into Chinese culture.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport and take the estimated flight: CA1215 12:30/14:45 to Shanghai. Our guide will meet you at the airport and then you will be transferred to take the maglev train. Maglev train is a modern high-tech rail vehicle. Shanghai's maglev train is the first maglev train in China. It can reach a speed of 430 kilometers per hour. And then you will be transferred to visit the famous Nanjing Road and the Bund. Nanjing Road in Shanghai is the first commercial street to be established after Shanghai opened its port. Nanjing East Road (including Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street) is mainly a cheap business district and tourist area; while Nanjing West Road is the most expensive place for renting shops and the most luxurious fashion in Shanghai. Commercial districts are dominated by luxury goods and high-end personal consumption. The interweaving of tradition and modernity adds another charm to this century-old street. This is a treasure trove of thousands of merchants, and a paradise for shoppers at home and abroad. The Bund is 1.5 kilometers in length. It is a historical and cultural district in China. It is also the starting point of the old Shanghai concession area and the modern city of Shanghai. In the evening, you will have chance to take the Huangpu River Cruise and enjoy the beautiful night scenery of the Bund. Taking the Huangpu River Cruise, you can see the scenery of the buildings on the banks of the Huangpu River, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Jinmao Tower, and the Shanghai World Financial Center. On the night of the holiday, there will be wonderful light shows on the buildings on both sides of the river, and taste the perfect fusion of Shanghai history and modernity. After that you will be transferred to your hotel.

This morning we will take the estimated train: G1866 8:47/9:10 to Suzhou. Suzhou has a history of nearly 2500 years and has the reputation of "Heaven on Earth". It is also the representative of Chinese private gardens. We will first visit the Humble Administrator’s Garden. The Humble Administrator's Garden was built in the early 16th century and has a history of more than 500 years. It has either been a "private" home garden or a "wangfu" government office, leaving many intriguing relics and allusions. It is a representative work of Jiangnan classical gardens. It is the largest existing classical garden in Suzhou, covering an area of 78 acres (about 5.2 hectares). There is also the Suzhou Garden Museum, which is the only garden museum in China. After lunch, we will take the Canal Boat. Along the ancient canal, there is beautiful sightseeing such as the ancient city wall ruins of Suzhou and Pan Gate. Building styles are totally different on both sides of the canal. Modern buildings are on one side while typical antique buildings are on the other. And then we will go and visit a Silk Factory. Suzhou silk is a treasure in the Chinese traditional silk weaving industry. Silk is one of the ancient Chinese civilizations and an important embodiment of Chinese culture. After that, you will be transferred to the train station and take the estimated train: G1771 19:16 / 19:39 back to Shanghai. And you will be transferred to hotel.

This morning, we will visit the Yu Garden. (Yu Garden is closed on Monday). Yu Garden was originally a private garden in the Ming Dynasty. And it has a history of more than 400 years. Yu is the meaning of peace and health. There are tourist attractions such as the Old City God’s Temple and Old Street on the side of the Garden. Then you will be transferred to the airport and fly back to your sweet home.
