After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel according to the appointed time.First,you will visit Victoria Peak. At 554 meters above sea level, Victoria Peak is the highest point in Hong Kong, thus it is the ideal place for you to enjoy a bird's eye view of the magnificent and stunningVictoria Harbour scenery. It is one of the most famous tourist destinations in Hong Kong.
The vintage red cable car is the most popular means of transport to the summit of Victoria Peak and attracts millions of tourists every year. The Peak Tram, which began operating in May 1888, is one of the oldest cable cars in Asia and is 1,350 meters long, taking just seven minutes to reach the summit. It starts at the Garden Road cable car terminal and has five stops along the way. It is amazing to feel the whole world tilting up as you go up the mountain. We recommend you to take the right-hand seat in the cable car to enjoy more beautiful scenery along the way. If you are liable to carsickness, we recommend you sit on the first carriage of the cable car. It will be more comfortable for you. Then you will have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit Repulse Bay. Repulse Bay is located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island.It is the most representative and popular bay in Hong Kong, known as the "First Bay in the World" and the "Hawaii of the East". The Repulse Bay is not very big, and it is in the shape of a crescent moon. The sand is fine and smooth, and if you stand on it with your bare feet, you will feel very comfortable. Here you will see many people enjoying sunbathing and you may meet many beautiful girls in bikinis.
At last, you will visit the Stanley Market. It is a famous shopping market of Hong Kong and is a great place for shopping and sightseeing. There are numerous shops and stalls standing along the market street selling Chinese handicrafts, antiques, clothing, paintings, and so on. If you want to buy something, you can try to have bargaining with the shopkeeper about the price of it because the price of most commodities is not fixed. I believe it will be a very interesting experience to you. It is the best place to buy some souvenirs for your friends and families. Besides, there are also many unique bars and restaurants in the Stanley Market, and you can sit on the beach and have a drink while watching the ocean in a distance, which is a good way to relax. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
In the morning, our guide will wait for you at the hotel lobby. Then you will be transferred to visit the Hong Kong Ocean Park. You will visit the park by yourselves, but our guide will give you some useful suggestions about visiting the Hong Kong Ocean Park. Opened on January 10, 1977, Hong Kong Ocean Park is a world-class theme park with sea and land animals, amusement rides, and mega shows. It is mainly divided into two parts, the Waterfront Paradise at the bottom of the hill and the Summit Paradise at the top of the hill, which is connected by a cable car. The park is divided into eight themed areas, including the Asian Animal Kingdom, Aqua City, and Ocean World, etc... When you visit the Hong Kong Ocean Park, you will start your trip from the part of Waterfront Paradise at the bottom of the hill. Here you will visit the Aqua City, which is opened up to tourists in early 2011. The 3-storey Grand Aquarium in this area features various aquatic animals, especially over 5,000 precious fish of 400 species. Then you will take the cable car to ascend to the Summit Paradise. From the cable car, you will have an unparalleled spectacular view of Hong Kong Island and the South China Sea. In the Summit Paradise, you can see the marvelous landscape comprised of Sea Jelly Spectacular, Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium, Ocean Theater, Ocean Park Tower, and more others. Lunch is not included. Then you will be transferred to the train station and take an estimated train: G6114 17:18-21:09 to Changsha. When you arrive at Changsha train station, you will be transferred to your hotel and have a good rest.
After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel. You will first visit the Tianxin Pavilion. Tianxin Pavilion was built in the 11th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty(1636-1911) and was later destroyed by a big fire. Then it was rebuilt in 1983. The pavilion has three stories and occupies an area of 846 square meters. The whole building of Tianxin Pavilion is supported by 46 red-painted columns, with red tiles and pink walls and a solid white stone base. There are 62 lions carved on the stone railings in front of and behind the pavilion. The Tianxin Pavilion is located at the highest point of Changsha, so if you ascend to the top of the pavilion, you will have a panoramic view of Changsha City and the Xiangjiang River, which is extremely spectacular and stunning.
And then you will visit the Hunan Museum(Closed each Monday).Hunan Museum was built in 1951 and open to the public in 1956. It is the largest historical art museum in Hunan Province. It has more than 180,000 items in its collection, among which the most distinctive ones are Mawangdui Han tomb artifacts, bronzes from Shang dynasties(1600 BC-1046 BC), ancient ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy, etc...
After that, you will be transferred to visit Yuelu Mountain. Located in Yuelu District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, Yuelu Mountain is 300.8 meters above sea level and covers an area of 35.20 square kilometers. It is one of the four major maple-viewing resorts in China, along with Fragrant Mountain in Beijing, Qixia Mountain in Nanjing, Tianping Mountain in Suzhou.Yuelu Mountain is noted for its spectacular scenery and is worth visiting all year round. You will see the beautiful azaleas in spring, the full-blown chrysanthemum in summer, the flamboyant maple leaves in autumn and the silver-colored trees covered with snow in winter. All these beautiful sceneries will amaze you to the fullest. There are many beautiful scenic spots in Yuelu Mountain, but Aiwan Pavilion is the one that you should not miss. The Aiwan Pavilion is one of the 'Four Famous Pavilions' in China. It is a place with revolutionary significance. When Mao Zedong, the first chairman of PRC, was studying in a normal school, he used to come to the pavilion with several friends and they often discussed current affairs. The pavilion was named by Chairman Mao in 1952.
At last, you will visit Orange Isle.As the biggest inland island in China, it is honored as the 'First Island in China'. The Orange Isle got its name because it abounded with sweet and delicious oranges in autumns. According to records, Orange Isle was silted up by sand and stones in 305 A.D. and was composed of four smaller islands. As time passed, the four parts were connected and developed into theOrange Isle we can see today.
In the morning, our guide will wait for you at the hotel lobby. After picking you up, you will be transferred to Zhangjiajie(321 km, about 4 hours’ driving).
Then you will be transferred directly to your hotel in Zhangjiajie by a comfortable private car, and the friendly local guide will help you to check in the hotel. The rest of today is on your own to explore this fabulous city in China.
After breakfast, you will be accompanied by our local guide to the famous Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, which is located in the northwest of Zhangjiajie. It is about 30 kilometers from the city center and it takes about 45 minutes to get there. You will visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by Bailong Elevator. Bailong Elevator is the world's tallest, largest capacity and fastest running outdoor sightseeing elevator. It takesonly 3 minutes to go up the mountain by it, which is both easy and safe. Ascending to the mountain, you will see theBack Garden, Mihun Stage, the First Bridge in the world, and Hallelujah Mountains, etc. The spectacular and stunning natural landscape will come into your sight. You will see the mountains in different shapes and sizes seem like many swords towering into the clouds. You will also see a waterfall flowing from a peak at a height of more than 200 meters, which is just like a piece of white silk stretching from the sky.
Then you will take the eco-car to Emperor Mountainscenic area.The highest elevation of the Emperor Mountain scenic area is 1262.5 meters (Kunlun Peak) and the lowest is 534 meters (Shilanyu). The total area of the scenic spot is 67 square kilometers. You can find a large scale of ancient subtropical virgin forests and rare animals somewhere. It isa great place to enjoy the sea of the clouds, sunrise, sunset and the winter snow.Here you will visit the Helong Park, Dianjiang Terrace, Fairy Maiden Present Flowers, etc. Among all these major scenic spots of Emperor Mountain, I like Dianjiang Terrace the most. Standing on the viewing platform of Dianjiang Terrace, you will see more than dozens of peak pillars rising from the ground, which is just like dozens of soldiers standing on the drill ground waiting for the military parade. The 'emperor' stands in the center, and the 'commander' is reading the imperial edict, and the 'generals' are listening carefully with respect. I believe this majestic scene will amaze you to the fullest.
Then you will visit the Ten-Miles-Gallery by trainset. In the Ten-Miles-Gallery, you could see these peaks with various shapes. They are named according to their shapes, such as The God of Longevity Welcoming Guest, An Old Man Gathering Herbs, Conch Peak, etc. All these beautiful scenery will brighten your eyes.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit the Golden Whip Stream. It is one of the earliest developed scenic spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. With a length of 7.5 kilometers, the Golden Whip Stream is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley. Visiting the Golden Whip Stream, you will be attracted by the picturesque scenery here. You can listen to the voice of nature carefully along this stream. The stream flows through the valley with a murmur, while birds are twittering on the branches.
In the afternoon, you will visit Baofeng Lake. Baofeng Lake is 72 meters deep. Because it is located between high mountains, accepting natural water flow, so the water is very clear. The clear lake reflecting the surrounding peaks and the magnificent mountain, which is very stunning and spectacular. You can take the Baofeng Lake Cruise to appreciate the beautiful scenery of Baofeng Lake. It is a special and wonderful experience for you. If you are lucky enough, you can meet the local lovely girls who are rowing a bamboo raft while singing folk songs. Then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
In the morning, our guide will wait for you at the hotel lobby. Then you will be transferred to Changsha train station (321 km, about 4 hours’ driving) and you will take an estimated train: G423 13:56-17:13 to Guilin.
Guilin is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in south China. With picturesque natural landscape and abundant historic treasures, Guilin is considered to be one of the most popular tourist cities in China. The stunning landscape in the city is very beautiful, with world-renowned scenic spots including Li River, Yangshuo West Street, and so on. It is also an important cultural city with a history of more than 2,000 years, and has been served as the political, economic and cultural center of Guangxi since the Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127).
Upon your arrival at Guilin train station, you will be transferred to hotel in Guilin downtown and have a good rest.
This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel. And then we will drive about one hour to have a 4-hour Li River Cruise. The cruise is from Mopanshan Pier or Zhujiang pier to Yangshuo. The fascinating landscape and country scenery along the cruise will never disappoint you. Along the 84-kilometer cruise, you will see green limestone karst mountains, fascinating countryside views, and beautiful Li River landscapes, etc. Taking the cruise along Li River, you will pass by the Xingping Ancient Town. Xingping Ancient Town has a history of more than 1,700 years, and it has beautiful and spectacular natural landscape. It has been reproduced in many Chinese landscape paintings. Even the 20 RMB note has the scenery on its back. A famous American photographer-Steve Mccurry once said: 'Pictures shot from any perspective for this place will be impressive and stunning'.
You will have lunch on board. In the afternoon, you will disembark at Yangshuo. Yangshuo is 65 kilometers away from the urban area of Guilin. Its unique and beautiful scenery has won the reputation of "Landscape in Yangshuo is the best in Guilin".
Next, you will stroll around at Yangshuo West Street. It is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. As early as 590 AD, when Yangshuo County was established, Yangshuo West Street was only 200 meters long and 5 meters wide. At that time there were only a few shops along the street dealing in daily necessities and most of the inhabitants were local peasants. As time passes by, it has become the most prosperous district in Yangshuo, and, each year, approximately 100,000 tourists come here for a visit.
Visiting West Street, you will be amazed by various craftworks shops, painting and calligraphy stores, backpack shops, cafes, etc. You may also see a multitude of commodities, such as embroidered silk cloth, wax-painted weaving, porcelains. It is the best place for you to buy some souvenirs for your friends and families. Besides that, you can also taste some local food here, including ciba (a kind of Chinese rice cake) and Guilin rice noodles, and so on. It is highly recommended for you to enjoy the Guilin rice noodles. I believe you will be impressed by the taste.
Then drive back to Guilin and transfer back to your hotel to have a good rest.
