In the morning, you will meet your guide at your hotel in the Guangzhou city area. After greeting you with a warm welcome, your guide will drive you to Guangzhou Nansha Golf Club, which is about 66 kilometers southeast of the Guangzhou city area. It is estimated that you will spend 80 minutes in the car, during which you are welcome to ask your guide whatever you want to know about this 227-million-square-meter golf club. Favorably located in the central area of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou Nansha Golf Club is situated by the mountains and near a lake. With an aggregate of 36 golf holes in it, Guangzhou Nansha Golf Club is the brainchild of John Jacobs, a legendary golf master. Half of the 36 holes are on the flat floor of the valley, while the other 18 holes are on the high mountains. As a result, the uneven course of the club will not only bring some difficulty to golfers playing there but also add a certain zest to the game itself. In addition, this up-scale golf club also distinguishes itself from other conventional counterparts by its choices of different grass seeds, with the course planted with TIFTON419 (TIFWAY) Bermudagrass and the putting greens planted with TIFTON328 (TIFGREEN) Bermudagrass. After enjoying the golf game, you can find other facilities in this club, where you can get optional services, such as massages, saunas, and coffees. If Guangzhou Nansha Golf Club is not available, we will arrange for you to play in other golf clubs of the same standard.
After finishing your golf tour, you will be escorted to your hotel, where you can have a good rest or enjoy some free time in the Guangzhou city area.
Free Time Suggestion:
During your free time, you are suggested to take a stroll around the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, which is a 1237-meter-long commercial street accommodating more than 300 stores, ranging from distinctive clothes stores to time-honored local delicacies. Steeped in traditional Cantonese culture, the bustling street receives as many as 600,000 visitors daily. On this street lined with traditional Cantonese buildings, you can buy mouth-watering local snacks, such as Cantonese moon cakes, rice noodle rolls, and soy sauce chicken. A very popular type of them is rice noodle rolls, which can be easily found in local breakfast restaurants. The main ingredients of this pig-intestine-like dish include a mixture of rice flour and tapioca, water, and vegetable. Locals prefer to fill the rice noodle rolls with shrimp, beef, vegetables, or other kinds of stuffings. With everything in place, all you have to do is steam it in a specific steamer and pour spoonfuls of specially-made sauce on it before serving.
